The BFK01 is the 'big dog' of our knife range, intended for deployment by various infantry and SF units. Designed for extreme hard use, the BFK01's typical duties include cutting, chopping, splitting wood and digging.
The modified Tanto design is extraordinarily strong, with a 7mm full tang thickness that mitigates impact stress from aggressive penetration and prying. This configuration offers unrivaled tip strength. Our BFK01 also features a hardcore serration along its spine to facilitate chopping, sawing and an area rearward of the point for hammering; its pommel has a chisel point designed for prying.
Constructed from D2 Tool Steel, the BFK01 has a robust black Teflon coating and shock absorbing para-cord wrap that can be provided in a choice of colours.
Note: HHA para-cord wrap is coated with a proprietary acrylic solution. This solution does not impede the practical use of the cord, if removed for use, in a survival situation.

We understand that you may require handle up or down carry. In consideration of this and to ensure fail-safe retention in any situation, this slimline profile carry system has two Velcro straps that fasten below the pommel and above the hand guard. All knife carry systems feature a secure Kydex® insert for the blade.
